Touring the Packard House and Sunkist Packing plant, that The Lab LLP has renovated

On a tour of the Packard House and Sunkist Packing plant, that The Lab LLP has renovated, they ran into Lisa Stipkovich, former head of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency, having lunch at Umami Burger.

The ULI Young Leaders Group held the last Coffee Talk on July 26 with Daryl Carter, Avanath Capital. Scott Baxter, Raintree Partners (center) started the Coffee Talks nearly seven years ago. Jason Silver, YLG Vice Chair, (left) and Josh Cox, Stirling Development, are launching a new networking program on Aug. 28 – the 60-Minute Mentor Mixer.

ULI Places of Commerce Initiative Council, led by Elizabeth Cobb, Shea Properties, toured City Walk in Aliso Viejo

Members of the ULI Places if Commerce Initiative Council, led by Elizabeth Cobb, Shea Properties, toured City Walk in Aliso Viejo.  This fiscal year the Council will focus on “scale of commerce”.  Margit Allen, RBF Consulting, serves as Vice Chair of Education, and will set-up discussions/tours around various issues including regional niche retail, the evolution of strip centers, outlet malls and entertainment and lifestyle centers and corporate campuses. George Avila, proprietor of Cityperk and advocate for Live/Work, shared best practices and lessons learned at today’s tour.
