Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC)

On April 17 Mentor Group 7 toured Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC) under construction. The group met with the Construction Project Manager Michael McAlpine and Testing and Inspecting Manager Bill Davis for an on-site tour. The group learned about LEED Platinum construction, unique structural design challenges, and balancing schedules for infrastructure construction.

National Bike Challenge

The National Bike Challenge is a nationwide event, May 1 until September 30, 2014, uniting road-bending and newbie bicyclists.. The goal is to unite 50,000 riders to pedal 30 million miles over the challenge period. ULI/OC 2014 Mentorship Group led by Kurt Strasmann
