San Bernardino County Vision


Supervisor Janice Rutherford takes a page out of Disney University’s manual to make San Bernardino County “truly a business friendly environment.”  “Safety, Show, Courtesy, Efficient.”  A vision was adopted three years ago by SANBAG to turn the County around, coming out of the economic downturn. Supervisor Rutherford was the keynote speaker at the ULI program in Ontario, followed by a panel on small building development.

Diamond Jamboree, No Diamond in the Rough


Steve Zuckerman, Diamond Group, led the Places of Commerce Initiative Council on a private tour. Zuckerman credits the success of Diamond Jamboree, the two-level dining/entertainment center in Irvine to the proximity to UCI and an unmet need for the Asian market in OC.

Michael Hayde, CEO, Western National Group, was named a Governor of the ULI Foundation.


Michael Hayde, CEO, Western National Group, was named a Governor of the ULI Foundation.  Hayde, a long-time ULI member, also serves on the ULI Multi-Family Housing Product Council. The ULI Foundation is the fundraising arm of the ULI for research and education.
