    Mark Bratt

    Westwood Financial

    Mark Bratt is the Chief Executive Officer of Westwood Financial. Prior to joining Westwood, he served as a Senior Managing Director with CBRE’s Capital Markets and led Retail Investment Services for the Americas. Mark oversaw more than 125 commercial real estate professionals with 25 focused on institutional clients. Prior to joining CBRE, Mark was Chief Investment Officer for SITC (formerly DDR), responsible for acquisitions and dispositions. SITC is a publicly traded REIT focused on open air shopping centers with 400 properties across the United States. During his tenure, SITC acquired more than $4 billion and sold over $2 billion in retail centers. Prior to SITC, Mark was an Executive Director with Morgan Stanley Real Estate, providing investment leadership for the firm’s opportunity funds and separate account clients.

    Kevin MacKenzie

    JLL

    Kevin is an executive managing director, and the national production leader for JLL Capital Markets, based in Phoenix. He joins JLL as part of the HFF acquisition and has more than 19 years of experience in commercial real estate investment banking. He specializes in the execution and expansion of the firm’s capital markets platform through the representation of institutional and private owners of institutional-grade commercial real estate properties throughout the United States. As a member of the JLL Executive Committee, Kevin is responsible for the overall direction of the firm’s 30 Capital Markets offices. During the course of his career, Kevin has executed in excess of 800 transactions totaling more than $29 billion, across all property sectors and regions of the United States. Kevin started at HFF in March 2004. Before that, he worked in strategic finance and business development roles at various venture capital-backed technology companies in Silicon Valley. During his time in the technology industry, he played a key role in raising more than $250 million in venture capital from prominent firms, including Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers and Benchmark Capital.

    Gio Cordoves

    Western Regional President, KBS Realty Advisors

    Mr. Cordoves is the Western regional president of KBS. As a member of senior leadership, he serves in a variety of capacities companywide. In addition to overseeing asset management and disposition activities on behalf of the KBS REITs, pension funds and sovereign wealth fund clients, Mr. Cordoves is directly involved in all new acquisitions within the Western Region. As a member of the Investment Committee, Mr. Cordoves participates in the evaluation and authorization of all new investment opportunities for the KBS. Additionally, Mr. Cordoves is a member of the Executive Committee which is responsible for advising on the general operations and strategic planning for the company. Mr. Cordoves previously served as senior vice president and asset manager for KBS and co-director of the KBS Asset Management Team. Mr. Cordoves served as the market leader responsible for carrying out investment objectives in the Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and Minneapolis markets with a portfolio size of approximately 3.7 million square feet of office and industrial space with a combined market value of nearly $1 billion. Having joined KBS in 2007, Mr. Cordoves was also previously responsible for other U.S. markets including St. Louis, Tulsa, Indianapolis, and Louisville where, as with his current markets, he was actively involved in all acquisition, disposition, and asset management activities in those markets. In 2021 Mr. Cordoves was selected as a 2021 Commercial Real Estate Visionary by the Los Angeles Times. Prior to KBS, Mr. Cordoves served as a senior associate at Ernst & Young LLP for three years where he provided a variety of professional services for several Southern California real estate firms, including KBS. Mr. Cordoves received a master’s degree in accounting from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame and bachelor’s degrees in both business administration and accounting from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and Leventhal School of Accounting. In addition, he is both a licensed real estate broker and a certified public accountant.

    Spencer Levy

    Global Chief Client Officer and Senior Economic Advisor, CBRE, Inc.

    Spencer Levy is Global Client Strategist and Senior Economic Advisor for CBRE, the largest commercial real estate services firm in the world. In this role, he focuses on client engagement and public-facing activities, including thought leadership work performed in conjunction with CBRE Research. He also serves as Co-Chair of the Real Estate Roundtable’s Research Committee. Spencer is frequently quoted in major business publications and appears on business television, including CNBC, CNN, Bloomberg, PBS and Fox Business. Spencer is the host of CBRE’s podcast “The Weekly Take.” He is considered one of the most insightful commentators on issues of importance to commercial real estate. Spencer has 27 years of experience in commercial real estate, including the past 15 at CBRE. In this time, he has served as a lawyer, investment banker, capital markets and senior research leader. He leverages that varied background to formulate advice and create presentations that go deep and touch on all aspects of commercial real estate. His thoughtful analysis, coupled with a highly engaging presenting style, has made him one of the most sought-after commentators and advisors in the industry. Spencer regularly speaks at major events of the country’s leading commercial real estate organizations, including CORENET, NAIOP, ULI, ICSC, NAREIM and CREW. He also has guest lectured at his alma maters Harvard and Cornell, as well as Columbia, NYU, Johns Hopkins, Indiana, Georgetown, Pitt, UCLA, USC, Ohio State and many others. Spencer is a recipient of multiple industry awards, including a two-time winner of the CORENET Luminary Award for Excellence in Public Speaking, the CBRE Trammell Crow Master Builder Award, the CBRE Gary J. While a New Yorker for most of his life, Spencer currently resides in Baltimore with his wife of 23 years and their three children.     Michelle Lord

    Senior Vice President, Head of Project Finance, Fairfield Residential

    Michelle joined Fairfield in 2002 and is responsible for managing equity and debt relationships for the company and is the portfolio manager of the Fairfield Create Core Multifamily Fund. During her tenure at Fairfield, Michelle has negotiated and closed over $11 billion in multifamily debt and equity with major banking institutions, life companies and institutional investors. Before joining Fairfield, Michelle was vice president in capital markets with Security Capital Group. During her tenure there, she was responsible for the initial Asia market entry research for Prologis and held several positions including office manager in Tokyo, Japan, vice president and assistant to the chairman of Prologis Trust, and associate at Archstone Trust. Prior to this, Michelle was a trader on the European and Asian currency desk with Asahi Bank, Tokyo. Michelle received her BA from Smith College and her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth. Michelle is Vice Chair Membership and DEI for the Transit Oriented Development Council of the Urban Land Institute and Finance Committee, Vice Chair of the National Multifamily Housing Council.

    John Garrigan

    Principal, Head of Acquistions, LBA Realty | LBA Logistics

    Mr. Garrigan is a Principal at LBA and has over 18 years of real estate experience. Mr. Garrigan heads the Acquisitions Group and is responsible for the company’s Corporate Program acquisition efforts. Mr. Garrigan previously managed all Southern California leasing activities. Prior to joining LBA, Mr. Garrigan held the position of Portfolio Leasing Director at a San Diego-based commercial real estate investment and development company. In that role, he was responsible for all leasing and marketing operations and was actively involved in acquisitions and dispositions. Prior to the start of his real estate career, Mr. Garrigan was a Marine aviator and is a decorated combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Mr. Garrigan is a past President of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties - San Diego Chapter. Mr. Garrigan holds a B.A. degree in Business with an emphasis in Finance from California State University, Fullerton.
