    The ULI OCIE Chapter of ULI's Women's Leadership Initiative is hosting an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate women students to connect with top real estate players and learn about internships being offered by local and national CRE firms for Summer 2022 and beyond.

     If you're looking for a summer intern or just looking to connect with the next generation of talent, please join us for this virtual event!

    Each company attending will be required to conduct at least one informational interview following the program.

    Angel Brunner

    Founder and CEO, EB5 Capital

    Angelique “Angel” Brunner is the Founder and President of EB5 Capital, a $500 million EB-5 investment fund. She provides strategic direction to the company including oversight for investments, marketing, and legal matters. Ms. Brunner is an expert in creative financing, a highly respected EB-5 investment fund manager, and an enthusiastic advocate for innovative financing solutions. Angel is also a passionate community advocate. She’s an active member of the Urban Land Institute, U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Real Estate Executive Council. She serves on the Washington Architectural Foundation’s Board of Directors and is the Industry and Membership Chair and Spokesperson for the EB-5 Investment Coalition. She recently joined as a Founding Member of the Silicon Valley Blockchain Society and instituted a fund at the Stonewall Community Foundation to support STEM-focused scholarships for LGBTQ youth. Ms. Brunner holds a BA in Public Policy from Brown University as well as a MPA and Certificate in Urban Planning from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School where she studied under Ben Bernanke, former chairman of the Federal Reserve.

    Jonathan Brinsden

    Group President, Irvine Company

    Jonathan Brinsden is President of Irvine Company's Office Properties. He is responsible for the leadership and overall performance of the division, including a fully-integrated customer-centric platform of development, design, construction, leasing, operations, and marketing. He oversees portfolio growth strategies through acquisitions and development, and performance of the division’s nearly 53-million-square-foot operating portfolio. The portfolio includes properties in Orange County, San Diego, West Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, Chicago and New York City. He joined the company in 2021. Previously, Mr. Brinsden served as Chief Executive Officer of Midway and guided the company’s strategy, growth, and creation of a $2 billion portfolio of mixed-use assets over a 20-year period. Prior to joining Midway, Mr. Brinsden served as President and Chief Operating Officer at Hamm Corporation, a Houston-based development company. Mr. Brinsden is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) as Chairman of ULI Americas; and a Global Board Director, Governing Trustee, ULI Foundational Governor, and past Chair of ULI Houston. Mr. Brinsden has been active in a number of civic leadership and charitable organizations focused on parks and greenspace, homelessness, and education. He is also a former adjunct professor at the University of Houston Bauer Graduate Real Estate Program and a frequent guest lecturer at Texas A&M University and Rice University. Mr. Brinsden holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Construction Science, a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Design, and a Master of Science in Land and Real Estate Development from Texas A&M University.
