    Brian Myers

    President, Nuquest Ventures, LLC

    September 2012 MR. BRIAN J. MYERS, Biography Brian Myers is the president and founder of Nuquest Ventures, LLC. Nuquest primarily advises large corporations and public agencies on core asset reuse, acquisition/disposition strategy, general real estate strategies and organizational models. Mr. Myers oversees Nuquest's investments, real estate development activities and advisory services. Currently, Nuquest has real estate investment and development activities in California and Nevada. A graduate of Stanford University in Economics, Mr. Myers has an extensive history in the real estate industry with over 25 years of experience. Over the past two decades, Mr. Myers has provided real estate advisory and entitlement services to many government agencies and corporations across the western region of the country. Mr. Myers has also developed real estate in the states of California and Nevada including commercial, residential and land development projects. Mr. Myers has directed the entitlement and/or developed master planned communities and urban infill projects with over 30,000 residential units, 25M square feet of commercial/office/retail and public facilities such as professional sports stadiums, city halls, community centers and large-scale parks. This balance has provided Mr. Myers with insights into the success of a real estate project from conception to completion from the public and private perspective. Mr. Myers focus in the real estate industry is the positioning of underutilized real estate assets and the successful engagement of the public/private partnership. Mr. Myers more recently has focused on organizational development, strategic planning, research and innovation efforts within the large corporate real estate model. Prior to founding Nuquest Ventures, Mr. Myers was partner and president of Griffin Real Estate Corporation, Griffin Advisors and Griffin Structures responsible for developing real estate and public facilities across California. In the 90's, Mr. Myers was the owner of the Spectrum Group, a real estate advisory firm in Irvine. In the 80's Mr. Myers was an executive with a Hong Kong funded real estate development company. Mr. Myers managed successful projects in home building, commercial and land development. Mr. Myers is a frequent speaker on the topic of structuring public/private partnerships and has been featured as a guest speaker for ULI, NAID and NAIOP University. He resides in southern Orange County, California with his wife and two children.
