Initiative Councils

ULI Orange County/Inland Empire focuses its work around ULI’S priority initiatives. The District Council’s Initiative Councils are modeled after ULI’s National Product Councils.

Initiative Councils

Initiative Councils provide opportunities for leadership and volunteer involvement in the ULI at the local level, by promoting excellence in programming and fostering a culture of openness and sharing of issues critical to the land use planning and real estate development industries.

Membership on the Initiative Councils is limited to 30 members for each council, and members must commit to attending quarterly meetings. The Initiative Councils are designed to organize groups of industry professionals who get to know each other over the course of a year, by meeting regularly and sharing best practices and lessons learned.

The Initiative Councils inform and educate the broader ULI membership and industry professionals by organizing at one general networking program per year related to their priority initiative.
