With over fifteen years of experience in residential product types, Brittany De Paul manages design and architectural efforts for Lewis’s California Multi-Family Development group. Brittany leverages her architectural background to reframe design challenges into creative win-wins for Lewis and the cities it partners with, provides enhanced planning and design direction throughout entitlements, and pursues the development of new product types. She works in a detailed and collaborative fashion, guiding external consultants from concept design through documentation and construction. Over 2,100 rental homes to date, and a pipeline of over six thousand more in various stages of planning through construction, have resulted from her successfully juggling design efforts with AMEPS consultant coordination, construction documentation and detailed plan reviews in just six years at Lewis. Her position draws from a broad methodological toolkit to spearhead creative and strategic development while setting the thermostat for quality, efficiency, cost-consciousness, and attention to details that contribute to enriching and elevating Lewis residential developments and brand. Brittany’s involvement also extends to stabilized properties, where she gathers post-occupancy lessons learned and injects knowledge back into Development for the betterment of future projects.
Brittany graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona. She spent a year and a half designing luxury custom homes in Los Angeles before solidifying her career interests in multifamily housing. Prior to joining Lewis, Brittany spent eight years working at TCA Architects, where she led design and management efforts for multifamily, urban infill and mixed-use housing projects.
